Search For	What Happens
apple banana	Find rows that contain at least one of the two words
+apple +juice	Find rows that contain both words
+apple macintosh	Find rows that contain the word “apple”, but rank rows higher if they also contain “macintosh”
+apple -macintosh	Find rows that contain the word “apple” but not “macintosh”
+apple ~macintosh	Find rows that contain the word “apple”, but if the row also contains the word “macintosh”, rate it lower than if row does not. This is “softer” than a search for '+apple macintosh', for which the presence of “macintosh” causes the row not to be returned at all
"some words"	Find rows that contain exactly both words next to each other
apple*	Find rows that contain words such as “apple”, “apples”, “applesauce”, or “applet”

The Library is divided by category: Newsletters and main menu options. Any documents in pdf format have been scanned and placed in the library. There you may search the actual text for specific documents that match the words and phrases you enter in the “Search for…” box. For example…

To get a simple list of all newsletters, just check the Newsletters box and click on the SEARCH icon.

To get newsletters with the word Seattle, enter that word in the Search for… box, check the newsletters category and click on the Search icon.

From the examples on the left you can see the search engine is pretty smart and can get you to the specific documents you wish to read or download for later reading.

Once downloaded you can also increase the size of the letters to make it easier for you to read.
